ULCERGARD can be truly beneficial for a horse exposed to stressful situations such as traveling, changes in routine, competitions, training, weaning, lay-up and/or hospitalization. ULCERGARD is the only FDA approved product proven to prevent equine gastric ulcer syndrome (EGUS). Given once daily during stressful periods, ULCERGARD is proven effective in preventing gastric ulcers over short and long periods of time.
Dosage: 1/4 to 1/2 tube daily for horses weighing 600-1200lbs.
For horses over 1200lbs use a minimum of 1/2 tube daily.
