Important Information
The recommended initial administration period is four to six weeks; however, some dogs may respond in a shorter period of time. At this time you can decrease the number of Cosequin capsules to a level that maintains your pet's comfort. The capsules can be pulled apart and the contents sprinkled on the pet's food. Wet or moist food is preferred to ensure that the pet gets the entire amount.
Maintenance Administration ( After initial 6 week period ):
Dogs under 10 lb. can often have their dosage reduced to 1/2 capsule daily or 1 capsule every other day. 10 to 24 lb. can often have their dosage reduced to 1 capsule daily.
